Rate the last film you saw..

Post #1 by huddy » Sun Oct 12, 2014 12:59 pm

Score from 1 to 10 (10 being the highest)

Saw the new Equaliser last night with Denzel Washington. Not bad. A bit die hard but overall compelling viewing with some good scenes but nothing not seen before.

8/10

Edge of tomorrow

1/10

Didn't make it to the end even...and I can sit through some sh##e

It's like Groundhog Day but with guns instead of humor and Tom cruise instead of an actor.

Emily Blunt makes my all-time babe list but nothing to see here....

Not seen a decent film in a while, as I have been re-watching Lost (box set on Sky) and that is swallowing up my movie time but I will keep an eye here for some good recommendations.

yes today its easy to produce and release a movie, thanks to the digital HW / internet

In the past this was very expensive, but nowadays anyone can make a movie, and with very little PS kills make a good poster....

I'm still rather confused how you can take a white British man in his late 50s and come up with a black American.

This PC stuff has gone nuts. I'm not racist, but it just makes no sense whatsoever. It's like doing The Colour Purple and replacing all of the actors with silver haired white pensioners :S

But for the younger generation of today, they dont care (because they isnt aware of the original)

Indeed. Just what Christian Bale went through to make it deserves a watch. But I absolutely love twisty films and this one was full of them.

Transformers age of extinction, 6.5/10
I love transformers but this was a bit of a let down, still very watchable though.
Can anyone remember the game?? Sure it was on the Amiga, could be wrong though?? Used to love it!

I remember the game on the Spectrum (or could have been C64). Platform game that you could also fly :D

I also watched "The Grand Budapest Hotel" a week or so ago and loved it.

8/10 for me.
