Uwantme2killhim?

I've had this one in my list on Netflix for what seems like forever. My lady point blank refused to watch it because it looked stupid (I agreed, but wanted to see it any way) and I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually a reasonably decent flick and more than worth a watch. Didn't realise it was a true story, so that just made it even better.

It kind of gives its ending away because a part of it is completely unbelievable but still more than worth a watch.

I guess the underlying feeling is that all teenagers are not quite as grown up nor as clever as they think they are and can be very vulnerable.

Watched the new Godzilla film.
After getting mixed reviews from friends and work colleagues i thought i would go check it out for myself. And boy i wasn't disappointed loved the look and sounds of the monster's. The film does go slow in places, but that is all forgiven when a monster turns up. This has to be watched at the cinema or on a big screen tv with the volume right up. The film would be no good for younger viewers, because there is a lot of talking in places but the story line works. For fans of the old Japanese films you will like this. Overall a good solid 7/10 looking forward to the next one.

Agreed about Godzilla. Slow in places but monsters on screen roaring had me buzzing. Well worth a look.

Edge of Tomorrow.

Watched it because lots of critics I consider reliable were very positive about it. Though I can't stand Tom Cruise. Fortunately this is a Tom Cruise film for haters of Tom Cruise, and I've warmed a bit towards him because of this film. He dies constantly, and quite amusingly at times, which was very entertaining.
Apart from that the story was really quite good, if a little predictable. But frankly, after this season of Game of Thrones, I'm not quite as against predictability as I was, there's something satisfying about what you want to happen, happening :)

The aliens themselves are stunning, I loved every moment they were on screen. Plus they took out Tom Cruise again and again, bless 'em :D

Saw the new Transformers in the flicks a week ago with the boy. Really enjoyed it, much better than 2 or 3. It's going to be a marmite film though, I know people I can hear slating it in my head.
No Whitwicky, thank ****.

I went to the flicks and watched it and loved it. I can't stand Shia Lebouf, so not much point me comparing it to the previous 3 :D

From DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment comes an all new animated movie set within the same universe and continuity as the bestselling Batman: Arkham Asylum videogames.

Guardians of the galaxy
After stealing a mysterious orb, American pilot/outlaw hero Peter Quill is hunted down and thrown into an inter-galactic prison. In order to secure his freedom, Quill reluctantly joins forces with alien bandits Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot to form an alliance of misfits known as the Guardians of the Galaxy, and with the all-powerful villain Ronan hunting the orb, the fate of the universe is in their hands.

Best film this year so far by miles. Its funny, very good action and great music. Looking forward too the next one. 10/10 Oh yeah Thanos is in it, the bad guy from the end credits in Avengers..
I heard somewhere that the Guardians and the Avengers will meet up to fight...

Tried to watch the new Spiderman 2, gave up after 30mins, did a bit of reading and I am not alone in my opinion of it so I will not loose any sleep over skipping it.
