Been playing this, this last week non-stop every night since PS4 release.
Have to say its a great game - not just the usual hack and slash but sneaky sneaky MGS style too!

VERY addictive - loving every second.

GFX are drop dead gorgeous for a console - me hearts muchly.

The remastered version for the PS4 makes the best game from the last generation of consoles even better. It's a superb game. Beats anything on the PC IMO for quality of game. It looks ridiculously good on the PS3 when you factor in the age of the hardware. The frame rate is a little choppy though. It's 30 locked on the PS3 for the most part but dips to 20 aren't uncommon.

1080p60 on the PS4 remastered version though :D.

Play it on Hard minimum to experience the game how it is meant to be played. Hard on Naughty Dog games is Normal on other games. If you play it on lower than Hard supplies are so frequent you never have to ration them and that balance between managing your supplies and killing zombies / humans and progressing is what makes the game so special along with the excellent story line.

Yeah it can be locked to 30FPS too if it stutters too much. I've seen it a couple of times stuttering but its not bad, and usually when swimming around on the water surface as I'm assuming it has to deal with the ripples etc.

LIES about the ammo - I'm constantly running around conserving ammo on normal - its well 'ard!

It's not lies. You must be wasting a lot of bullets to have to be conserving ammo on normal

It's more about the bindings, alcohol, blades and sugar which you just end up with masses of on anything under hard. I'm playing Survivor difficulty on the PS4 :D

I think I must be one of the few people that didn't like this game. It started out so well with the zombie apocalypse, I was getting chased etc and everything was kicking off, next thing I knew it had jumped 20 years into the future and it totally skipped what I was enjoying so much. I gave it a few more hours and all it seemed to me was stealth game with minimal ammo and I am not a fan of stealth so I sacked it off. Overall I was disappointed as I am a big fan of naughty dog and Uncharted an was hoping this would be more of the same.

Completed it today on normal mode, along with the extra mission (Left Behind).
Have to say I'm really sad its completed as I enjoyed it so much. Gets much more action orientated as you work your way through and start collecting more weapons.

It'll be one of the few games I will be playing through again (next time survivor mode). REALLY looking forward to a part 2.

You've missed out slightly playing normal first time round. Survivor isn't that tough when you know what's coming (on a second playthrough). It's only a minor thing though because the game is the same on all difficulties but that sense of suspense you get on Hard at certain points is really good.

Though because I know what's coming even on survivor I've got a fair amount of supplies. That first play through when you aren't sure when you're next resupply is coming is amazing.

Without spoiling for any readers I'm at the part when you are in a Hunter camp... I've got two shivs, two molotovs, one nail bomb, a melee weapon, 8 pistol ammo, 6 revolver ammo, 6 arrows, 14 shotgun buckshot, 6 rifle shots... I'm loaded with gear
