Status of Team MLG HWBot team?

Post #1 by Gavbon » Wed Aug 31, 2016 9:14 am

Hey guys

So what's the status of the team then? Obviously over the past 6 months, things have gone a little quiet on the whole with people leaving, quitting benching, removing points etc

Obviously I loved being part of the community, but are things back on the up now? Not that I left because things declined, ill not lie and pretend I wasn't pissed off that this all started happening after the event I organised. I hate drama and tend to stay well out of it, so could someone kindly fill me in?

:D

Haven't got a clue what's going on. I know it's been very quiet on the forum with people not posting HWbot stuff and general overclocking questions. With the likes of Nickolp and Dagmar not posting things have slowed right down on the Hardware sections. We do need a fresh injection in this department..

yeah I haven't heard of/from Dagmar for a long time now; hope the big guy is alright!

Nick has quit benching I believe, if he has...big loss as he is a really top bloke; one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of meeting!

Can't let a forum go dead as once that happens, it's game over :(

Dagmar has had health issues, and was hoping he would be back soon. I know Nick quit benching, but it would be nice if he still posted from time to time,as we did make him a Admin on the forum to help us move forward..

Nick said he was coming back, he is just waiting for the new cpus to come out. There are still a few people posting on hwbot, but as for us lot in the UK its just me and Will that are active atm :(

It would be nice to see Nick back. Very nice bloke but a S*** drinker ;)
I will give him a nudge on Facebook.
The thing is my hardware hasn't changed over the last year so I haven't bothered doing any benchmarks. I'm not one of those who change there hardware every five minutes.

Plus i think you might find people will start benching again when the weather starts to get cooler.
